Digital is known as digital technology which is digitalize a continuous series information. It has strong interference capability, high accuracy, and confidentiality.

In digital electronics technology, transmission, processing and handling of signals can be divided into two categories: one signal is analog signal, these signal characteristics is in terms of time or the size,the signal are continuous changes,transmission, processing and handling of in technology signal is called analog technology; another signal is a digital signal, it is not continuous in terms of time or size of the discrete,the transfer, processing and handling digital signals can called as digital technology.

Digital technology is generally used binary, where the element has two stable states can be used to represent binary (such as "high" and "low"), it is the basic unit circuit, the circuit each component accuracy requirements are not very strict, allows component parameters to have a greater dispersion, as long as they can distinguish between two very different state. This feature is very favorable for achieving the integration of digital circuits.

The anti-interference ability is strong and the accuracy is high. Processing and handling of digital technology transfer value is less susceptible to outside interference, and thus the anti-interference ability. In addition, it can be used to increase the number of the binary number to improve accuracy.

Digital signal can be long-term storage, so a lot of valuable information resources can be preserved.

The confidentiality in digital technology can be encrypted so that some valuable information resource is not easy to be stolen.

The versatile is strong,it can use the standard logic components to form a variety of digital systems.

As digital technology has the above characteristics and with the rapid development of digital technology,the electronic digital computer, numerical control technology, communications equipment, digital instrumentation, as well as the national economy other sectors have been more widely used.
